drove up to New Berlin Wisconsin to visit Conrad Schmitt studios. they are a company (in business since 1889) that specializes in stained glass windows for churchs. they are helping me build some glass panels for a commission i recently got from the city of chicago to add some art to the 35th st red line CTA station (bridgeport stand up!). all the different materials and samples they had around the studio were very inspiring. ill post some photos of the progress as we get closer.
