Fecal Face Dot Gallery, an extension of the popular San Francisco-based art and culture website Fecalface.com, opens "Out-Of-Towners," the second show in the galleries two-show opening series. Following the success of the galleries inaugural show "Welcome Home," "Out-Of-Towners" is a collection of works by site favorites hailing from Los Angeles to Istanbul. "There's a lot of work by a lot of talented people out there," says John Trippe, founder and curator of FecalFace.com, "but you can only get so much by viewing work online. I'm excited to merge what we've been doing online since 2000 into the vibrant art scene here in San Francisco."

LUNCH TIME LOVE
ive been slacking on posting lunches. havent been slacking on eating them just have been leaving the camera at home. also moved the studio recently to logan square (was in pilsen for the past 6 years). so now im basically 5 minutes away from Hot Dougs (which ive posted about numerous times before), so instead of trying new spots i pretty much just go there everyweek. i will try to get photos up of the weekly specials......
for now check out the "atomic bomb"
spicy pork sausage w/ chipolte mayonaise and applewood smoked cheese

ARKITIP 45
very excited to be included in the new issue of Arkitip. this issue is the first issue of the magazine to focus almost entirely on one artist (evan hecox). it focuses on his process (showing ref photos from trips to mexico) as well as showing new work. also in the issue they have 2 "guest" spots where myself and todd st. john each show 20 pages of work. the issue comes in a hand stamped envelope and also comes with a signed evan print.

Radar Eyes: A survey of hallucinogenic print making
curated by Seripop and Reuben Kincaid
Canadian Print duo Seripop and Reuben Kincaid are hosting a large group show representing the works of experimental printmakers on March 7, 2008. The exhibition contains work sharing a similar aesthetic highlighting the talents of artists and designers making hand drawn, ephemeral work. Many of the prints depict distortions of perception, altered states of awareness and geometric, sometimes hallucinogenic subject matter or compositions.
