THE BOOTLEG FILES VOL.01

this kind of shit seems to happen all the time and i usually dont pay it no mind but as it happens more and more it starts to get me a bit heated. this company proper english straight jacked one of my designs for their current season.

here is the original design that was originally done as a screenprint and later used as a t-shirt for 2K by Ginham.

and here is the Proper English version. whoah, looks a little similar, no?
i guess they tried to change a few things to maybe avoid legal action? or maybe the designer was just lazy. on their website they have contact info so feel free to send them any love letters, etc.

LUNCH TIME LOVE: BURGER EDITION

i've been going to Kuma's Corner quite a bit lately with Ben Fasman. it's a great bar/ hamburger spot where all the burgers are named after metal bands.

i want to try out some of the random burgers but the Metallica and Iron Maiden are so good i usually get one of those. but last night figured id switch it up and get the High On Fire. heres whats on top of it: Siracha Hot Chili Sauce, Prosciutto, Roasted Red Pepper, Grilled Pineapple, Sweet Chili Paste

Ben switched it up as well and got the Slayer: which is a Pile of fries topped with a ½ lb. Burger, Chili, Cherry Peppers, Andouille, Onions, Jack Cheese, and Anger

if you are in chicago and like either metal or burgers (or preferably both), you should check it out.
