hitting the road Saturday AM with Ben Fasman, Jared Eberhardt & Joseph Patel on a 3 day road trip through Wisconsin to see how brats are made, eat way too many cheese curds and bring home some sausage in the shape of Old Style bottles.

The New New Chicagoans
In 2005 Public Media Institute put together the New Chicagoans exhibition. The show was curated on the premise of exhibiting the work from an emerging generation of accomplished visual artists in Chicago. This year we have chosen participants from that exhibition to show work with another generation of exciting artists emerging in Chicago today. It's called The New New Chicagoans. This exhibition opens our festival.
Featuring work by:
Mike Andrews, Dayton Castleman, Ryan Travis Christian, Paul Cowan, Ryan Duggan, Stephen Eichhorn, Edie Fake, Aron Gent, Cody Hudson, Matthew Hoffman, Thad Kellstadt, Jason Lazarus, Rachael Marszewski, Paul Nudd, Rachel Niffenegger, Josue Pellot, Josh Reames, Anna Shteynshleyger, Sonnenzimmer, Greg Stimac, Christine Tarkowski

while in SF for the show at Guerrero Gallery i ran into friend & SF based photographer / director Andrew Paynter. we got to hang out a bit, ate burritos on mission with paul urich, talked about babies and afterwards he shot a few polaroids of me in the gallery. here is one below as well as a photo of mine of him looking at photos of me.
