For the next 2 months ill be the Summer 2011 Digital Artist-in-Residence at Columbia College in Chicago. It should be an interesting experience and help me push the work in new directions. I'll post some documentation of the process here as things progress.
heres a bit about it from the Columbia site:
The Photography Department of Columbia College Chicago is pleased to announce, Cody Hudson, as our Summer 2011 Digital Artist-in-Residence.
Cody Hudson will begin his residency in May and will continue through July 15th. He will be working in the Photography Department's Digital facility, allowing students, staff and faculty to interact directly, experience his creative process and watch his work develop over the course of the residency.
Follow Cody's progress as our 2011 Summer Digital Artist-In-Residence on the Photography Department's website - www.colum.edu/photo
The residency program is intended to help foster involvement with the arts community by engaging and strengthening relationships between professional artists and the Photography Department. It promises to provide the Photography Department with increased opportunities to build communities of practitioners and artists who equally strive to connect and collaborate with peers, students and industry leaders.
The Digital Artist Residency Program will contribute to an already significant culture of creativity and promote artistry and innovation among the educational community of faculty, staff and students.
